There are many ways to be involved as a volunteer with our ministry. If you have general questions about our ministry, please share your contact information using our secure form.
On the second Sunday of each month, our team prepares and distributes food directly to people in need on the streets. Each month we serve over 100 hot meals and provide encouragement through prayer. We also share the Gospel, offering spiritual nourishment alongside practical care.
Our Education program exists to improve children’s chances of success in life through practical support and faith-based learning. In 2022, we distributed over 300 school kits and backpacks, along with grocery bags for families. Each summer we host about eight VBS camps and sports activities for children.
Our Health program helps families access medical care they otherwise could not afford, restoring dignity and strengthening households. In 2022, our beneficiaries received approximately 2,000 medical appointments through supported services. We also host an annual health fair with screenings and distribute vitamins to fight malnutrition.
Our micro-entrepreneurship program supports beneficiaries who have viable business ideas and a desire to build sustainable income. Selected participants receive seed support of up to $100 in materials to launch or improve their projects. This approach strengthens long-term stability while encouraging stewardship and responsibility.
Our Shelter program improves living conditions for families facing unsafe or unhealthy housing environments. Projects may include garbage removal and the construction of essential spaces such as bathrooms, kitchens, and small apartments. These improvements protect health, restore dignity, and create safer homes for families.
Our Emergency Relief program responds quickly to disasters and displacement by delivering food, supplies, and shelter to families in crisis. Outreach has included 300 food kits during the 2008 floods, support for 7,500 families after the 2016 earthquake, and aid for thousands of immigrants in 2018–2019. In the La Gasca flood (2022), we served 18 families (68 people) with food, hygiene, clothing, and care.
