Hunger Relief Impact (2025)
Economic Development represents the Development phase of Pan de Vida’s holistic ministry- where families are equipped to build lasting stability and independence.
Business and financial training for individuals seeking to start or grow small enterprises.
Emphasis on ethical practices, stewardship, and sustainable planning.
Support provided through in-kind grants (materials and equipment rather than cash).
A faith-based entrepreneurship initiative that identifies and supports creative business ideas.
Participants receive mentorship and training, then present their projects for material-based support.
Yearly Goal: Train 30 participants and help launch 6 new entrepreneurs annually.
Organic agricultural initiatives that improve food security and generate income.
Families receive training, tools, and ongoing accompaniment in sustainable farming practices.
Development of trusted Community Champions who mentor other families.
Champions multiply impact by teaching skills, sharing resources, and modeling success.
At Pan de Vida, economic development is about more than income — it is about dignity, stewardship, and purpose. We believe God has given every person gifts and abilities meant to be cultivated, and that sustainable work is a pathway to stability, confidence, and hope.

For families living in poverty or extreme poverty, limited access to employment opportunities often traps generations in cycles of need. Without training, resources, or capital, even the most motivated individuals struggle to create sustainable livelihoods.
Pan de Vida exists to help break this cycle – not through handouts, but through hand-ups rooted in faith, accountability, and long-term vision.

Economic Development is the culmination of Pan de Vida’s journey from Relief to Development. Families who once received emergency assistance now stand equipped to provide for others, strengthen their communities, and glorify God through their work.

We also support about 8 VBS youth camps and sports for the children each year in the summer.
In the last year (2022) our beneficiaries had about 2000 medical appointments.
